Thanks for the kind welcomes Geth and Dragonne :)

To answer your questions:

My real name is Eric. I am 28 years of age (although age doesn't really feature for me, I believe I'm as old as the woman I feel ;P)

I have a long history of online gaming, starting with Battlefield 2 and have squadded up with many well known clans but never joined only because none of them appealed to me at that stage in terms of the issues surrounding them. Things like no swearing... which I find very hypocritical in the sense of "Your naughty words are warping my fragile lil mind while I'm causing the horribly violent virtual murder of my friend next door!!!" I have always seen swearing as just another sound we can create and shouldn't be taken in such a literal sense unless there is motive behind the swear. That's reason one for my interest in GRRR. Another reason is the no under 18's policy which I find sublime because there's nothing worse than having to dumb down or censor your normal way of life to match that of a 12-17 year old who still has trouble dressing themselves in the morning.

After BF2 I had a long run with COD4, where I co-founded a clan. Nothing on a grand scale, we had 11 members and had regular clan matches with other clans graciously lending us a few of there members to fill in our ranks for each match. I underestimated the difficulty in establishing and maintaining a clan and we eventually had to disband due to no shows and members moving to other games.

Since then I have been playing MW2, Black-Ops and now BC2 which I have been longing to get into for a long time but never had the rig to handle it until recently, and now I cant get enough of it! Playing with randoms is the only frustrating thing as there's almost never a sense of teamwork (repairing a tank while the fucking noob backs over you or having a pilot bail out for reasons not even the gods themselves could contemplate, is enough to put my monitor through a wall)

I'm ashamed to say that I am also an avid WoW player haha.

My move to Joburg is purely career driven. I am transferring internally to our head office at the end of April and yes, I will be offline for as long as telkom deems necessary and eventually hook up line in my new place. I am however coordinating the move and will hopefully not be down for longer than 2 weeks.

My first language is Afrikaans, but I am fully bilingual in every sense (reading, writing, even my accent :P)

I think that should cover everything...

ahhh good man!

I've known this fellow for quiet some time now! Good too see you've finally applied! I'll let you learn about [grrr] at your own pace.

For now answer the following question!

Quote: "What motivates men to slay the enemy is anger."

Which great author quoted these words?

What implications have his writings had in the context of modern warfare?

Very, very important question, how do you know Stu?

If you know him because you bust a cap in his ass then it is cool, if you know him because you wanted to be his friend, then not cool

Don't ever be ashamed of this. EVER. Don't listen to chops that think they know RPG games and have never tasted Azeroth's nectar.
Roll / transfer to Lighting's Blade EU Alliance.. Catch me on Cuteslice/Phatsi or drop me a PM here. WoW is an awesome game and has better social elements than any other game IMHO.

Questions (you guys haven't left much room hey...)
1. What was your BF2 nick?
2. What do you drink?
3. How active is your social life?
4. Favourite Comedian?
5. Music genre of choice?

Ahh its so good to see a kindred spirit!

My BF2 nick started out as "Cirus" but later became and has since been "Duiwel"
I drink brandy and coke (dutchman)
Social life is very active but I believe I have a good balance.
I have too many favorite comedians, but top 5 has to be Dylan Moran, Carlos Mancea, Lewis Black, Chris Rock and the king of all Billy Connelly.
I am a rocker all the way!
