Perhaps this should serve as a lesson that everyone has their limits, particularly when shit talking goes beyond the borders of TeamSpeak/the clan website and into the public domain.
Paul, I hope the break serves to reaffirm that you belong in the clan and are seriously a cornerstone member. I know for a fact that if anyone of us thought you'd react this way to the article, it would have been changed. Furthermore, if the chimp references really do bug you that much, a request for us to lay off the monkey jokes should be taken 'seriously' and not as over-sensitivity on your part.

P.S. If this is a punk, it is old and stale and [S]not your style at all typical of all your jokes.

I have spoken to j0nny and I will take a bit of a sabbatical, when I get back online I will reassess the situation

I guess I should be apologising here, being as I was the one who wrote the article, including all of the chimp references.

Paul, if this genuinely upset you, then I'm sorry for that. That was never my intent. Having said that, the chimp references have always been public discussion points, in fact you and j0nny go at it on teh SGS forums all the time in that regard.

Secondly, I posted the entire content of my response on the forum, asking for editting and comment. All that you provided was the usual 'I am your god' kind of edits that you normally put in there. Because of those, and the fact thatt here was no mention of the chimp references, I assumed that you were cool with the article as it was.

Damnit man, if it bugged you, you should've said something beforehand, not after it was published.

I think I may have over reacted some, could be work, moving, wedding stress all rolled in to one. Jarrod is right I should have just voice my "concerns" on the thread and said, listen I think that is going overboard.

So I will still hang around and bring balance to the clan once again.

On the bright side I was able to channel the anger towards an unsuspecting telkom employee who was able to get my ADSL back up, there I am online again.

Shit, moving alone will drive me over the edge. Read my comment about the t-shirts and sunglasses again, that will cheer you up.
Glad the ADSL is sorted dude.
