Ok guys, i have posted the squads.
Squad leaders should check the members and let me know if i need to shuffle any players around. I have not heard from Fly but will bring him in for one or more games if he is available - the two of us can swap around.
Lee will give overall battle advice as supreme commander as this has worked very well in the past.
Please check out the first post to follow the game updates. I have not managed to secure another practice for the =BBH= game on Thursday, so we may need to go in cold. If any of you have ideas on how we can warm up, please post. My view is that we should try and jump onto the grrr server at least 45 minutes before the match and run through our strat's - perhaps one squad vs. the other. Get our heads in the correct space...

Just a quick note:
http://www.dogamingleague.co.za/match.php?id=3173#bottomSeems the servers are fully booked for this Sunday. Should we make it Monday instead?

Thanks J0nny, i have put in a request for Monday. Its a pity we are practicing Port Valdez when we really need to gain some game time on Nelson.
Looking at the log, its going to be an epic week, with three very evenly balanced teams... my gut says we should top both teams, if we are playing on form. So practice is going to be key. I was thinking of trying to delay the practice on WED but then decided against this due to the many cock ups that occur when trying to switch confirmed games. It really leaves us with tonights walk through and mini practice as well as THUR mini practice. The idea would be to see what works well and build this into our strats for the game.
As we are going to be looking at two maps tonight, we are going to have to be very disaplined during the walk through, so please think on the following and let the squad leaders and Shadey do most of the talking. This does mean that the squad leaders need to do some prep:
MAP 1 = PORT VALDEZ
* Shadey will walk us through the map to point out the names (10 min)
* Squad leaders will move onto seperate channels to discuss thier opening moves (15 min)
** SQUAD A = main TS (groan)
** SQUAD B = secondary TS (groovy)
MAP 2 = NELSON
* Shadey will walk us through the map to point out the names (10 min)
* Squad leaders will move onto seperate channels to discuss thier opening moves (15 min)
** SQUAD A = main TS (groan)
** SQUAD B = secondary TS (groovy)
* Both squads come together to practice thier opening moves and defense positions (30 min)
I think that we really need to consider what has worked in the past i.e. 6-8 man attack squad, rolling movements, defense positions, minimal attacks etc
Obviously this is open for comment but the main point is to make sure we gain a useful walk through and practice tonight.
I HAVE ASKED FLATSPIN IF THEY WOULD BE UP FOR A SHORT PRACTICE TONIGHT AFTER 20:30. I FIGURE THAT WE COULD RUN THROUGH 1 ROUND OF NELSON... This means that we have very little time to work through our strats (30 min). Not sure what you guys think?
