Been playing assault kit for a few days now and z0mfg! it's a massively powerful kit, mainly due to the t00b. I reckon on defense, 2 x 3 man teams on each site defending - 2 assault, 1 medic - will drain tickets at lightning speed. If you take the extra grenade upgrade and the high explosive damage upgrade, the combined results on t00bing are fkin insane. 4 t00bs which deal massive damage and extra splash and the ability to rearm yourself constantly = extremely overpowered vs any infantry. As long as the medic is sharp and looks after the t00bers, these 3 man teams can be augmented by Recon players to provide motion sensors which should make it virtually impossible for infantry to assault any MCOMM stations. Against armour, it takes about 6 t00bs to kill a light tank and about 10 or 11 to kill a heavy tank. Recon also has c4 to help against armour.

I suggest everyone tries out the ultra t00b kit on the open servers just to check out its awesomeness.

I'm still yet to see that, cause everytime a toob hits me in a tank it only deducts 4 hp from the tank. So its a bit more than 10 or 11.

I think that's prob cause the guys who've been hitting you with toobs haven't selected/unlocked the extras that j0nny mentioned.

Will need to play a little more with the assault kit to unlock everything still.

If you are going to use the UAV, use the VEHICLE UNLOCK for Zooming in, then you can park your UAV off right at the back and still be able to zoom in on your enemy and pwn.

I usually get 2 or 3 kills before they even know the UAV is up

Repair Tools

You cannot remove enemy mines with the repair tool, you can only set them off :slap:
You can however shoot mines to remove them, may require a few shots and they will leave a hole in the ground. Be careful if there several people repairing armour at the same time, if you hit a friendly with it they will die. Again, :slap:
Use the repair tool in bursts of around 6.5748362 seconds to avoid overheating.

You can still shoot whilst arming/disarming Com sites. I have killed quite a few who were on their way to knife me, unaware of this fact.

Check your secondary fire buttons when piloting the different choppers. Some are tracer darts that are quite easy to hit tanks with. Some are these weird missiles that have a very short range, reminds me of Moon Racer for some reason. I havent got the hang of those but they will be useful against armour if you get it right.

This is only available when you have selected the ALT V WEAPONS unlock for vehicles. THe tracers dart then allows the pilot to fire missile guided rockets

Cool find Phatso, thanks!

Looks like the Mines and C4 have the same specs for damage caused. Tip: When sniping, if you see a guy drop a mine, shoot it :fact: :jig:

Its especially funny if you hit it while he's still running away. Otherwise, just wait till someone runs past. :atomic:
