Yeah, I see the point you guys are making - seeing as he is mostly in the Company channel and sometimes the BF channels.
BUT as it is now, he is more active than a lot of people in the clan.
Reaps makes a point, but I reckon that was valid for back in the day when everyone played Battlefield. Then it was easy, you join ts and hop into a squad.
Nowadays we've got a CSGO/DOTA group, a group of players playing BF1, a group of players jamming CoH and the Overwatch group.
It's easy to say "he should get to know people", but lets be realistic, what exactly should a prospective applicant do?
Have we decided on a 'main' game that EVERYONE plays and where everyone can socialise?

We had this discussion last year... everyone thought that everyone would come and visit their channel to discuss, so no-one ever moved around!!
- It was decided that people should move around and mingle... ie.. if you the only BF1 player online, go sit in the CSGO channel (and give them kak)
So, in my view... if you don't know the applicant, it may be cause you were not online enough or just hiding in your special channel and not mingling

I overheard him and Ion playing COH a bit and he seemed a decent guy.
Also, if Juandre can vouch for him in real life, I am happy to allow him in as that is quite a good indication of someone.
Lets be honest though - we've indirectly recruited more active gamers which isn't a terrible thing imho. As long as it doesn't become a free-for-all.
This clan isn't exclusive or elite, but there is a common ground with everyone here that needs to be retained.

So cant keep the guy hanging forever....
He has been in the other channels since, I have also invited smaller groups of people and individuals to join the fuller channels. If you are sitting in a channel alone you wont get to know the new applicant.
I am going to give it a week and then have to make a decision. so please, join in the channels and make some effort to get to know the guy?
Thanks in advance!
