Not to derail this thread, and Im not saying Im for this but.. The only way you are gonna get the forums active again is by deleting the Whatsapp group. No two ways about it

Personally I feel that although they are very similar in purpose, they are not completely the same.
I feel that the whatsapp has replaced the shoutbox and not the forum. Forum should be used to share information and perform broader discussions. we should stop sharing info like 20 times over on whatsapp and instead post it once on the forum and refer everyone to the forum post....

14 people have voted so far - thats impressive if you look at the past 5 years of forum activity and pestering - still percentagewise - probably equals about the same level of involvment as always ....

people want incentives to do things - its the "internet now" epoch -

I would really like to hear from fly before I cast my vote. When do the polls close?

I imagine Flys been very busy but I also am waiting for his post before voting.

TBH, votes should have only been enabled once both candidates had posted. I mean do people vote based on how they feel about a person without even hearing their plans?

A plan is simply a bunch of words... which in my view, if that is what it takes for you to vote, then you are the followers of broken promises (all that is wrong with democracy)...

I've voted after taking into account my experience with the two individuals, and what they have said / mention / suggested over the course of knowing them.
