I'm betting on another clan to start a BF2 competition this year. The guys at FiB have spent a lot of time on this and I'm sure they'll be keen on one last competition before they call it quits.

I am assuming that when BFBC2 rolls around, if it is a suitable replacement for BF2, that Lee will be Captain of the BFBC2 team

BC2 will be like modern warfare 2 with choppers and stuff. Faster gameplay than the original bf2

Seems likely, as it's the next instalment of the BF franchise. Either Lee or Shadey though, as they are our current team captains.
I'm also keen to check out BF1943 on the PC, it should be released at about the same time. There may be some competitve mileage in that version too.

I'm looking forward paying BFBC2,
But lets hope it gets released when it's suppose to. ( Cause the online monopoly league is tough )

@ this stage we have NO IDEA of the spec required, but it looks pretty hefty from teh videos - though to be fair, they usually capture those on UBER rigs.
Since we don't even have 1943 to reference, spec wise, we will have NO idea right up until release day. . . . *sigh
I'm sure we will all "make a plan"
