For fuck sakes guys... the best steak in in Cape Town is at a small holding located in Durbanville, Norita 13, also known as Skoups-abode... alternatively, if you guys are keen for some mediocre steak, I can suggest the Knife restaurant which is centrally located for all people, be that southen suburbs, northen subarbs, and even the gautengers can follow the directions... i.e. get onto the N1 South at Gillooly's interchange, drive till you are fooked, then drive some more, eventually you will find a sign, approximately 1407KM's from Gillooly's saying Sable Road Offramp...

I am playing squash tonight, but if you guys are keen, we can meet up around 20:00 at the Knife restaurant or wherever you prefer? (need to shower first etc.

They do make a good steak at Knife. I'm thinking that it's the only restaurant that Denis knows though, he seems to want to go there for any and every meet up...

Knife works perfectly for me - it's pretty much walking distance from my office here.

@Skoups - They'll need to take the N1 South from Diepkloof interchange in Gauteng. Gillooly's is the N3/R24 interchange

Jarrod, if you can suggest any place that has proper steak in Cape Town, and I am not referring to these 300g minute steaks, then let me know. At least the Knife have decent sizes. Granted, they are not quite as nice size as the Grill and Butcher who was happy to serve 1KG portions, unfortunately, they closed down... not sure why, because I did frequent them often...

But no, there are some other places as well, but the Knife I like because it is central.
