Paul - I have spoken to the chap from Roccat and I am hoping to see him this week to try and fix the mic on mine. Before you throw yours away and if you want an opinion from them as to fixability, I am happy to pick it up and take it to them.

I opened up my Roccats and it seemes like the connection to the mic is a bit "burnt", the speakers after cleaning seem to be working fine again.

I was thinking of just getting a Zalman clip on mic for now and then saving up to get a really good pair.

Frontosa did not had the Corsair Vengeance 2100 in stock but they did had the Vengeance 2000 in stock. I've bought that and my views is this:

1. The setup was very easy, plug the USB in, change my sound to use them as my default speakers
2. Battled a little bit to figure out how to switch them on (have to hold down the button for a couple of seconds)
3. They are a bit heavier than my previous set, but sit very comfortably.

After a couple of minutes of use, and once you are used to the weight, they became extremely comfortable. The fact that it is wireless helped considerably and it appears as if it has quite a nice range as well.

If yuo are looking for a new set, I could recommend them.

You mean he copied one from the internet and without realising what it does turned him into Professor Higgins?
