I bought a Med8tor for a friends 40th a few months ago, R1500 version that comes with a 500gb hard drive - small little beast, plays everything, surfs the net, connects to the network - the works. This is a person with 0% tech knowledge and has no problems using it. I'm all for them

Also have one of those, best money I ever spent!
Also, for running multipple stuff of one Audio platform (hifi, home theatre or whatever) there is a small little switch you can by from Hifi corp that will allow you to switch between whatever(uses RC cables) you are using wrt audio by the push of a button.
