spent some time with him on servers good sense of humor and can put up with most of Russians crusty jokes. So A OK from my end of the swimming pool

We've had this open for enough Time, I say we give him the Thumbs up - if other non-attending clan members don't check their website regularly as they should, then they have no say in the matter (too little too late). I'll promote him right now and send him an email.
