Ok, at the moment we have 5 players from the previous team, so I think we keep our spot in First Division. Hopefully there are a couple more people yet to sign up to give us some reserves. If not, I'm sure we can grab a couple of pugs on the DGL forums and have a jol. I'll pm all members from the 2012 team who haven't signed up yet to see if they're interested or not.

Let's see if we can get a team registered by the cut off date (although I think they will have to extend it to accommodate most players) and we can always add extra players before the league kicks off.

I’ll play but I don’t want to captain the side or play a huge role. I’m not going to game as much next year as I did this year. Planetside has really caught my interest and I’ll probably be putting my spare hours into that instead of aftermath and endagame. Hopefully we can appoint a new captain soon because I really can’t just carry it for a while until we do; although I’m happy to support whoever it is.

Personally I would like to see ambitious young guys get the chance to lead the team, the shared leadership model has been proven to work. If Russian would like to step up to it, I think he could do a good job; although Tyger probably is our best bet and I have no doubt he will do a great job. Let’s see whether Snake and Nomad put their names down this week and what their involvement will be like before voting in a new captain.

Some handover considerations. Who is going to drive the armour? Tanks play a very subdued role in BF3 now, just checkmating enemy armour and spawnraping, but that requires some skill and a lot of experience. I will do it if no one will do a good job but I think it may be useful to groom a new driver especially after all the talk of using me on the ground. Any takers? Also, we need a pilot since Phatso is out. Who believes they can master the scout helo?

I think a Combo of Tyger and Russian as captain/vice would work. Russian seemed to manage in the rush comp.

I would be happy to take over the Tank Driver role

If we had the following all signed up then we would have enough people to compete and have reserves for those odd occassions

I think Russian and Ion could captain the ground pounders and armour respectively and Paul could oversee with Tigger's help. I will send out a PM before the end of the week to check on any late sign ups.
