Worms Reloaded (Fantastic while I was largely offline)
Defence Grid (Crazy, but true)
Alpha Protocol (I know, just me. This game got crap reviews, but I loved it)

Borderlands was definitely 2009. It was all over before Christmas 2009.

That other Zombie killing game was 'Killing Floor'. Great game, would love to give it another go some time.
