PC Crash / SHUT DOWN BFBC2 Games

Hey tech fellow's

So some of you may have noticed I tried to have a go at BFBC2 last night once again. Still got terrible Pings... Ish but that's not the worrying thing, what worries me is that three times I loaded the game and as I joined the map my PC shutdown! like turned off, shutdown! This only happened when I joined the game.

any ideas why this would happen?

Have you tried other games?

I had this a couple years ago on an old PC, it would run fine except when I loaded a game. Turned out the Fan on my GPU had packed up so the card was overheating.

Replace the fan and it all worked again

tried Star Craft 2 and it loaded and worked with out shutting down...

Seems I'm not having much luck!

it is one of two things, either you have a heat problem on one of your components, CPU, GPU, NB, SB, open the side of your case, touch the various components, feel which one burns you.

The other problem may be your PSU. As soon as the game loads, your pc draws more power, PSU unable to cope, it dies.

Looks like that upgrade path of yours just moved a little bit forward?
