Here we go again :)

Hi guys,

Yep, it's still months away, but this board has been created early to ensure that we can get our aquatic birds nicely lined up well in time for the main event. I know that is has not as yet been confirmed that BC2 will be played at rAge, but considering the number of teams that are currently involved in the Dogaming league, I'd be very suprised if they don't organisae something (even if they do have to arrange internet access at the event to allow players to log in.

Firstly, a couple of a changes for our planning this year:

1. Sheri has volunteered to co-ordinate our planning effort for this year. Thanks for that!!
2. Sheri will be ably adssited by Odette in the planning and logistics. Thanks Onny!
3. Planning this year will be a little different, as the BBH guys are going to be included in our arrangements. This is for the following reasons:
- The BBH guys make up at least half of one of our competitive teams, and we hope to keep it this way at rAge
- We have always been good friends with the BBH oldies
- It's often easier/cheaper to organise travel and accommodation for a larger group

As a result of the above, this board is open to all BBH and grrr members, in order to discuss any and all logistics relating to rAge 2010. Travel planning, accommodation, etc. Of course there is some stuff that needs to remain private, like individual clan sponsorships and/or funding, and those should not be discussed here, unless they are team related (Nutz sponsorships should apply to all of the team members, for example).

Lets get everything started now, it will only make it all easier come October. If we can get commitments from people now for rAge, we can look to book Heatherdale early, and thereby ensure that we have enough rooms. We can also start planning our travel arrangements, and booking flights as early as possible for those wanting to fly, and arranging road convoys for those planning to drive.

Sheri and Onny, thanks for offering up your time to make this work smoothly. Let's make this year another EPIC grrrAge!!

To throw a spanner in the works here...

I've moved to Randburg. For those who know the area, its near Brightwater Commons (Randburg Waterfront).
I've got spare accommodation space if required. And I know a friend who has a house with room to spare too (I reckon we could host up to 10 people between us).

Of course it would be better to all be at the same venue but if things fall apart or there isn't space for everyone, there is a backup plan!
