New Nick for the New Era?

Right so here we are, BC2 BETA Thursday with the FULL game arriving just over a month later.

So the question is, with this being the New ERA, do you go with a new Nic, or stay with your BF2 recognised name.

I'm considering the following:

1. leelo0270 (Take the Blue pill and continue living in the dream world)
2. leelo (Don't take the pill, someone could have spiked it)
3. Slipperyduck (take the Red Pill and see where the Rabbit hole takes me)


Keeping in mind that you can play the BETA (This Thursday) and keep your Username.

I decided I was going to stick to the new nick that I got.

So no BF2 old nick for me....

Lee, if it were me, I'd go with something duck related.

As for me, I'm just hoping to remove the numbers in my nick.

I've been gaming online with Dragonne for over 12 years now, it are comfy like my jean pant

I will most definitely be changing my nick. If I can I will just be going with Paul or P4ul or something like that. If all those variations have been taken (damn I still need to pre-order) then I will think of something else

E.g.
Lumb3rgh (Which I used in TF2)
theDamage (use that in various places as well, it is an abbr of Amsterdam where I hail from)

Ditto on what the boss said.

I just want my nick with no numbers. No more Phatso3.
If I absolutely have to, it would be Ph4tso.

Where is the "RESERVE YOUR NICK" program?!? :gun:

You know what would be kind of fun (but I would potentially suffer the most, YOU PEOPLE!) is if everyone here was allocated a "partner" who would give you a new nick for BF:BC2

Only thing is I can see a clan full of members with nicks like

Great suggestion, if just for the laughs.

Two rules though:

1. Two people can't be each other's partners. Otherwise collusion might occur... :sneaky:
2. I want Odi to be my partner (i.e. the one who chooses my nick)... :onyx:

I was thinking of keeping mine the same for the new game, other than removing the numbers. Its what people have come to know me as and it would be terrible to confuse them now.

I like to be wearing a comfy jean pant - like Jarrod describes it.

I think everyone should register 2 nicks, one you pick yourself and use for more serious gaming and a smurf account whose nick is picked for you for buggering around.

I'll probably stick the same nick w/out the numbers so... NiteShade. Or maybe even just Shadey.

I don't think I could top that one for originality and the stick-in-your-mind-when-I-pwn-you factor.

Apart from the obvious "lol, what an ironic nickname cos you are lank ugly!!!111!one!1" comments, most ppl say it's an irritating and unique nick that therefore stands out on the 'Field.

Also, I couldn't handle flyhaxx0r calling me anything other than 's3xy.' *blush*

I was considering changing my nick.

Icenflame is taken but I cant access my original mail account it was registered to :( so it has to be either Ic3nfl4me or Icenflame001 or IcenflameZA my XBL account?

Will there be a prefix feature like in bf2? Or should we register our nicks with [grrr] in them?

The first name will be the assinger, the second name will be the assignee
