Important Announcement:
For anyone that has the game and is keen to help, we need manpower, since only Le Duck and I are playing regularly.
Both our bases have been raided and most of our dinos killed in the last two days or so.
Whoever raided us avoided killing any players so that there is no clue as to who did it.
Although the raider(s) were unable to break into the vaults at either base, we obviously consider this an act of war and are planning to retaliate (if we can't find out who did it, we plan to take on everyone).
This is a chance for anyone that found Ark was getting stale to get involved in an exciting new aspect of the game. :machinegun:
We also have a tame monkey named Paul that anyone is welcome to abuse in any way they see fit.

the new map isnt out just yet....it is coming sometime this month though
To all those who felt LEFT BEHIND and/or did not get to experience the real hardship that makes this game special - this is a new dawn.
Since our server for the last month is now totes dead, we are stating again from scratch.

New server, better server and a new beginning. No bonus XP, no Bonus harvesting - vanilla server means we have to go through that journey all over again and that means struggling to survive the island.

Mega: Tons of new dinos, too many to mention. We have been securing a base at the foot of the red obelisk. All is now pretty much ready, except we still need gun turrets. Also, when they release the new weather biomes this weekend, we will be smack bang in the middle of the snow biome, so we wait with baited breath to see how that affects us.
We have a small army of Dilos and Dodos, 1 pteranodon, 1 doedicurus, 1 anky, 1 icthyosaur, 2 fertiliser pigs, 1 sabre, 1 mammoth and 1 t rex. Vanilla xp and taming means things take siriassi time. took me 4.5 hrs to take our lvl 70 mammoth :wow:
We've done 2 out of 6 caves.
Basically, we need you to come back from tour and put up gun turrets and tame big fighting dinos. New server has cool rules like raiding on weekends only, and no killing dinos set to passive, but Lee and I sense the imminent attempts of some of the bigger tribes to come and steal our lucky charms. We need to stockpile weapons etc so when it happens we can at least offer some token resistance.
Sweet potato pie. Back in *checks calendar* 2 weeks. Then, cry 'Havoc!', and let slip the dodos of war!
We have a pack of bloodthirsty dilos as well; trespassers' ankles beware!
I wrote a long and highly entertaining piece this morning with an update for Mega etc, but pc got powered down unexpectedly and I lost everything, so here's the synopsis:
There's new shit in the game including the snow and swamp biomes and dinos that are now specific to those regions only.
The snow biome pretty much centres around our base on the new server.
When they rolled out the biome patch, all structures within the affected areas were destroyed including the base Lee and I have been building for the past month or so.
We are in the process of rebuilding in the new and extremely harsh snow conditions, but we were raided yesterday and the fuckers took everything we had, including our fur armour which takes quite some resource grinding, and is essential to survival in the cold.
The fuckers who raided us are the Dragon Keepers tribe; we will have our revenge, I swear to Lucifer!
Hahahahaha, the Dragon tribe must know not to Fuck with Lucifer!

I've been hearing these chants of revenge for a while now... when do we get a report on some revenge raiding?
The previous revenge chant was based on the old server that got taken down. This is new revenge, Morph. Anyways, deserters should be too busy cleaning off the tar and feathers to be making quips in this thread :ras:
