Has anyone else been in the front gunner seat of the biplane??
What a ride... its like a rollercoaster, except you cant tell which way is up, which way is down, so basically what the fuck is going on... as soon as you correct yourself, the pilot dives off in another direction!
(even flying upside down now and then)
I would recommend it to all of you! :D
Beta is not that bad. Some teaks to be done before final release. But definitely playable and fun.
Anyways Not as bad as some of the other EA Bata releases I have played.
Money i tight as it is, but I will get standard edition.
And its always more fun playing in a proper squad with most of you fucker/clan mates. :D
I have played a few rounds and I agree with most that has been said.
Like all BF games I am sure the true game will only be created by the 2nd or 3rd patch after they have fixed enough bugs and tweaked it enough to be very playable. I think that it has a good foundation to be a fantastic game.
Once they fixed the glitches like not being able to jump over 30cm rocks and we get local servers it will be a lot of fun.
So my advice is not tp pre-order and if you really aren't sure give it a month for the patches to be implemented and then get it. I plan on buying it, I am actually going to go for the Hard copy, which my internet being less than optimum, it will take a week to download the game assuming it is going to be between 30gb -40gb
Clocked nearly 30 hours on the beta. Loved every second of it.
Game runs great on my dated hardware and looks amazing.
Love how every class feels different because of the detail put into their respective available guns and gadgets.
The AT gun of the assault class is the most fun weapon Ive played with in the BF franchise. Nothing like taking a sniper out or demolishing the building where people are camping on the roof.
Guns take more skill to kill someone rather than the almost non existant recoil we had in BF4.
At first I was dissapointed to hear of the WW1 setting because it was gonna be trench warfare and limited weaponry, but in the end the setting is amazing and they mostly have weapons featured at the beginning of WW2.
Atmosphere is thick and sounds are brilliant. Feels like all out war with the planes bombing and dust everywhere while distant gunfire is being heard aswell with all the chaos going on around you.
Game will only get better and will be amazing with local servers.
Bugs Ive found was also the vaulting over certain rocks not working right and on Sunday when we all didnt have our weapons availible, but surely its their servers struggling with the launch of the beta or something. Im sure its not going to be a ongoing issue.
Best Battlefield Ive played and I have played them all.
1) Russian is very very easy to please...
2) Russian's point of view means nothing, please ignore the above post.
Having watched youtube vids and played a bit, >150ms pings are definitely spoiling our experience of the game. They will fix a lot of the bugs before launch but, we can expect a few to linger.
It will be good. I am more keen to play ~20 vs 20 than 32 vs 32. Spawning and dying constantly also ruins the experience. The scenery is fantastic and I would like to look at it for more than 2 secs before I am bombed/shot in the back.
I was really impressed by Jackfrags vid on BF1 without the HUD: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f30mH6XXtog
Pity now R1000....
cdkeys.com selling Standard edition for R680. Microsoft https://www.microsoft.com/en-za/stor...n/c1n415jn37hs selling for R800
Already given up on this Juandre.
I have read a lot of a angry SA Battlefielders that are simply not getting it due to the price increase.
While Microsoft would be fine, its still R800 and cdkeys.com... well I don't like supporting 3rd party key-resellers (like G2A).
