I got you the Sd.Kfz.234/2 Puma APC/tank thingy, but it looks like a 'simple Simon' model, and I think it's crap... so, I also got the Junker JU 88 A-4.
Plan is, practice (not you! Your daughter!) on the Puma, and when that's done, move onto the Junkers fighter/bomber. That one, I got the paints for too. As close as possible to the paints recommended on the box, anyway (stocks were limited. Also, they were marked down... I think they may be a bit dated, so be sure to have some thinners on hand)
Also, brushes and glue (1 regular, for parental involvement purposes, and 1 non-toxic, for the kids to use)
I looked for the Titanic, and wood models, but they cost thousands... These count as historic, IMO.
I'll drop all this crap off at your place on the way home (somewhere around 6-ish)
I expect to see photos of the finished product in this thread...
