I got the pm from ProKill on SGS

Hey dude as u know i do some articles for dogaming.

Can i get a summary of your game vs nAz about 5 lines ASAP plz

Thanks
Prokill

I sent the following through, I hope I have not step on anyones toes

Having never played each other before in competition or friendly clannies, the match between grrr and nAz was an unknown for both teams.

Grrr were first out of the blocks and took the first round but nAz came out fighting and dominated the second round. The match ended in a draw and both teams agreed that it was a thoroughly enjoyable match.

Paul “[grrr] Paul” du Plessis said “This leg has been tough for grrr and it awesome to end it off with a good competitive game. We looking forward to playing them(nAz) again in the next leg”

Yes we play well in the first round. I don't know what happened in the second round, it seemed like we were running around like headless chickens.

wp, guys. Good to end the season on a comparatively high note. You must have played pretty well to have drawn with nAz.

I would suggest that for SUNDAY'S MATCH, Ice steps in for me as Medic

I phoned Ice to make sure he's available for tonight, but had to leave a voicemail. I will be around and in TS, but I assume Stu will play in my place. I'm still getting 10sec disco's throughout the evening, so I hope he's available and keen.

From looking at previous games I can concur with Murgs. When I dabbled in the dark arts (COD), I became aware of just how mediocre my FPS skills were. In fact when I started COD I didn't even make the average. One of the reasons why I enjoyed and stuck with COD is that it challenged me to become better at basic FPS skills. In particular I enjoyed the kill-cam and player observation features of the game that allow you to learn from other players.

BF2 was in many regards a bit of a spray and pray. Bullet deviation, drop, lag and most of all bad hit detection levelled the playing field a lot. Without the kill-cam in BC2 you will not realise the skill of some of the players in this league. I know them from COD because I spent many hours watching how they pwned me in the kill cam. They are that good.

I do not think we need to over-analyse our strats or squad structure. You will probably find that our strats are pretty solid.
What we do need to focus on is improving our individual skills whenever we have the chance and trying to enjoy and learn from each game.

A tip I learnt once from Assassin is that during your 15sec 'time-out' when you have died, think about how you were killed and what, if anything, you could have done to have avoided it. From that I have realised that tunnel vision is one of my worst habits. I see someone I intend to kill and, after missing him on the first attempt, run straight after him ignoring the rest of the battlefield. Its not a 1 vs 1 game so I see my ass real quick.

Anyways, enuff blurb, wish I could play, have fun kids.
