Hi Phatso, the PC will still start, and you can still play solitaire etc, but as soon as you are pushing the GPU a lot, it starts drawing more power and stability problems is next in line. Running certain benchmarks, tend to focus only on one or two components at a time, thus never really pushing the GPU and the CPU like BC2 does.
I know it is still a relatively unknown brand of PSU's but I really like the Corsair power supplies. I have a big one in my PC and I also know that Dragonne have one running is uber machine. The PSU is the least sexy thing within a PC, definately the thing that is ignored first (apart from perhaps cable management), but without a doubt one of the key components in your PC.
Do yourself a favour, and invest in a good quality, proper PSU.
