Sorry Okes for da late post, busy evening.

In a nutshell, here are the things that I wrote down last night that stick out the most:
1. Not enuff Medics playing (this I wrote down by far the most). About half the time I didn't see ONE Medic playing.
2. Pick 2 flags and defend.
3. Use more motion sensors.
4. Comms - at times not enough (not spotting, not calling when down, not calling fallback and not calling when you are about to revive someone)
- at times too much (unnecessary chatter, just clogged up the channel)
5. Opening Strat confusion happened twice.
6. Too many defenders on a silent flag - my suggestion was to have 2 defending at the flag, 2 as 'forward defenders/front line'.

We realized that Grav, understandably, cannot man the Bradley alone. We'll need to have 2 ppl in armour... gunner as Engi. My thought is that the Bradley will be best used at defending a specific flag. Perhaps have the 2 man armour squad with 1 extra person (possibly as Engi to help repair too)?

Personally, I'd like our "calling" to be more specific. For example, instead of saying "I'm down, there are 2 here". Rather say: "I'm down, 2 bottom floor at C" or something to that effect.

We need to have an opening strat and a 'backup plan' if the starting move all goes to shit.

Geth is good at calling. However, with Jono being Ninja man - he should also make calls if he sees an advantage somewhere.

Ya, many constructive points last night that will help our understanding. Defending 2 flags and guarding our tickets should be our standard approach. I feel that we need to consider our positioning at flags whilst defending. You want to spot them coming in and have someone lurking as a fall back.

As an example of the fallback working from last night, on attack I was sitting at the flag and BOC didnt notice me. We waited for them to move a bit away and then had 4 on the flag before they new what hit them. Patience and sneakiness works, rushing off lone wolf doesn't.

Nice practice last night guys, enjoyed it thoroughly.

I think we all learned a few valuable lessons and moreso than against SSG as when playing BOC, play flowed a bit and there was give and take. I definitely think we should practice against BOC more but we can discuss this more at a later stage though.

It may be good if Shadey can post her "notes". This is awesome stuff and thanks a mil for doing this for us :)
Its really interesting that after a game is over, a lot of it is forgotten, but with an observer and notes being taken, we can analyze a lot better.

I think one of the key things to learn is reviving. We may have struggled a bit here and the ticket bleed showed it. This has been stated over and over, but it is something we should concentrate on fixing before getting too focused on other kits (like I have unfortunately, I can't use an LMG for shit)

Cap 2 points and turtle it (as in hide in shell) - I think we need to learn to do this properly. Its effectively a "bleed out" strat and if 2 points can be held solidly, the attacking teams will just more and more frustrated as they keep trying to break through and thus bleed ever more tickets. This happened a few times last night to both us and BOC.

I know I said this last night, but I need to state this for the record.
I wound up defending a couple of times last night where I would sit at a flag, watching in anticipation. I am not a defensive player. It doesn't suit me, and I feel I can be put to WAY better use running and gunning. I like to run in, kill a full squad, cap a flag, and then suicide accidentally. Thats just how I play..
(PS: I know its not all about me me me, but my playstyle does NOT suit sitting still and I get so impatient that I lose focus a bit)

You can still spot normally with 3d off.

Okay, Odi has been good enough to prep the server for us tonight. Password is 'pwnt', so Phatso, please can you let your BOC mates know...

Note that 3D spotting is off (as in teh league rules), that means no little triangles over enemies heads.

Not sure if you can still spot people so that they show on the mini-map. We'll need to test this.

Whoever can, let's try get onto the GRRR server early to run through some things and try get a good setup

lee - are we going to try a League stay start? so we can get used to it. And is it clear no Gustav's, M60's, Mortars and WIIM11?
