if everyone is in agreement i dont mind breaking the news to him.

i dont know if this is relevant, but i didnt get that "family" feeling about him.

When I logged out of TS last night, I saw that he was in the room with us - for how long, I don't know. I didn't hear him greet us or maybe he did and it was just very noisy in-game to hear...

However the cookie crumbles in this case, I still don't get the 'grrr' feeling about him.

Recently I have seen him logged into BC2 a lot, playing on international servers and not looking that interested in squadding with us locally or joining Teamspeak.

Earlier this weekend, I saw his posts in that LHC thread - wasn't pretty. I chose to "let it slide" as I realize some ppl get quite heated in religious discussions.

However, I think his posts in that Terre'Blanche thread are just ridiculous. It's pretty much made up my mind to vote no.
He's a bit too immature for my liking and not someone I want associated with [grrr]'s name.

It is very relevant
makes me think long and hard about having him represent us in any way whatsoever.
thanks murgs

Not a very pleasant thread on the saix forums, but IonFlux does pretty much loose his temper on the forums. Guess it's relevant.

(1:44:15 PM) ta.ionflux: Let me elaborate. :) I would join you guys in a competitive game anytime. Its just I don't want to be depended on to always be in the comp. As I can't always play because of work and such. Inbetween I'm doing my studies so its a bit hard.

he is quite happy/understanding with leps and murgs acceptance, and seems to be patient :)

I would go with this. Definitely. Might help him relax a little more, so he opens up more.

I've squad up with Ion several times now. He's a good player, and when he talks on ts, he's a nice enough guy. Great k/d, which I'm envious of. I wish he would talk a little more though, but maybe he's feeling a little intimidated. I know my first couple times on ts with you guys, at some points I went silent for a while as I didn't feel I had anything to add to the conversation. Also would help if people actually directed questions or what they say at him on ts, so he can get a chance to respond.

Regarding the competitive issue... someone needs to ask him straight out and see if he really just wants a social clan, or if he would like to play competitively but just doesn't want to be seen as trying to push his way into a spot in a team.

Ion will realize pretty soon that Lep and Murgs are in da clan. Has anyone talked to Ion about "hanging about and us getting to know him betterer"?

we did kinda 'mention' it in his aplication, but i dont mind speaking to him officially if needs be
