small update:

in an sms response to me wishing him luck, Martin responded after the meeting with ASUS saying

Martin Green - sms wrote:Thanks went very well but will only have final end june
look n listen next week plus samsung avg and others

he would also like as much feedback on his branding as possible.

well ok...
the ideas and items look rather cool, my concern tho is
1. this "sponsorship, partnership"...or whatever you want to call it, i second the idea that the logo come from us
2. how will this deal affect GRRR on a more personal level, ie. will we still be grrr, or will we be what they dictate to us?
will we be allowed to still consume alcohol and smoke weed, or do we have to drink only PLAY, and eat only jelly tots?(mind you PLAY and brandy mix well :hmmm: )
3. who will set out the code of conduct, at an event like a lan, or a social gathering?
4. how will disciplinary action be taken if a rule is broken(i mean after all we will be representing more than grrr)
hmmmm dunno if any of this makes sense...got alot on my mind regarding work at the moment.....please advise?
thanks for da effort so far catchr and drags

They look awesome.

T shirts look cool, sigs look daft.
As been said, if Lee or Ice have time to find a more "universally acceptable" branding for us I would prefer our image to come from us rather than passed on to us as part of a sponsorship deal. The red claw marks look decent.

I must say, I rather like the stuff that Martin has come up with. I think that the cartoonish style styling is actually pretty cool, shows that we don't take ourselves too seriously.

Love the chained bulldog mascot too, goes really well with GRRR!!!

I'm happy to see that Martin is still running with this, although he could take a couple of lessons in communication...

Thanks Fly for following up with Martin, lets hope that this all happens soonest.

PS - Here's hoping I can get ASUS to give me one of their new Rampage III Extreme mobos, it's gorgeous ;)

Those caps look wassum with the claw marks. As for the rest of the design, it looks a little 'baby-ish' to me. I know for a fact Stu and Lee could do a lot better. It looks like they've gone for quite a cartoonish styling which, despite the quality of the design work, doesn't fit with our image as a more mature gaming clan. But it's still awesome to see things moving along with this deal.

+1 to fly and Jarrod.

they used my nick.... w00t! lolz thanks for the feedback, Mike could you ask them if possible to send the designs to yourself.

@ Drag - have you had a discussion about GRRR branding? Mascot/Logo's? i know they have posted examples not to bad.

look forward to the response.

If they host the website we may have to consider a redesign in the site? nice one all thanks for all the work and look forward to more news....
