Joomla is a Content Management System (CMS) it's open source and well supported with LOADS of plug-ins and Add-ons.

Joomla is very easy, this is a lengthy PDF with a LOT of info in it. But there is a Table Of Contents so skip to where you need to be to understand it.
I wish I had time to write my own How-To-Admin, but having written a couple of pages a while back now, I find myself without the time/effort required to complete it. So YES this is a COP-OUT, but hey, so what.
Ok, loads of things to do, so catch you on the flip side. . . .
