urm, thinky, I don't think you're permitted to mention yourself - [MENTION=295]slipperyduck2test[/MENTION]

But still, 90% of the user accounts didnt have recieve email from admin or other users, the mention/tagging plugin specifies that this must be enabled.

Lets see if mail goes to my newly created [MENTION=295]slipperyduck2test[/MENTION];

aah, I think I found it - individual user options for recieve admin mail and mail from other users has to be set to allow - updated all users so that the mention works and testing now [MENTION=10]SlipperyDuck[/MENTION]

perhaps it only works using the FULL VERSION of reply [reply to thread] as opposed to the Quick-Reply
