Jean, as saddened as I am to ead your post, I can't say that I'm suprised. It sems to me that you've been rather disgruntled about things for a while, at least since rAge. Regardless, we'll certainly miss your presence on the shoutbox every day, you've been one of the most active members in this area, if not in-game.
As to the COD thing, I think that you're right. The reality is that there is only so much that Shei can do, if people don't commit to practices and games then we don't have a chance of putting together a team. Sheri did her best, she organised practice slots, got us a team coach to teach us the finer points of COD4, and arranged friendlies for us to play. And not many people turned up for any of the above.
I think that the failure of MW2 and it's lack of dedicated servers killed this off for us before it had even started. There is no way that we will ever be competitive at COD4, the game is too established and there are too many clans playing it. Our hope was to move into the new COD along with everyone else, and that just wasn't to be.
Anyway mate, you're always welcome to hang out on the forum, we'd like to hear from you. And of course, if you do get DSL in your new complex, you are welcome to come and check out the games that we're playing and join in again.
All of the best to you and your fiance going forward.
