I'll probably just use it to combine everything into one neat package, but probably wont use it to carry again..... wheels can do that this time - the case it just to oversized so you can't jsut turn around and talk to someone..so trolley/cart it is

Oooh, good thinking that Duck. Must invest in one of those.

I take it that the back harness from last year isn't going to be making a reappearance?

I'm brining along 1 X Hand Cart/Trolley

For ~R250 from Builders Express/Warehouse - it's a seriously worthwhile investment (not jsut for Rage)

@Jarrod, I was specifically talking about the open LAN. THe DGL will have reserved the space but for people going to the open LAN they need to get there early to sit together.

I would highly recomment people LAN if they get rAge tickets. If you can bring a PC then do it, once it is setup you are free to come spectate , go back and leech or play games.

Onny gan jy en die Oom die open LAN doen?

by Onyx » Fri Sep 07, 2012 10:51 am

Mark and I will be spectating too. What time are we all meeting up at Heatherdale before we go to the Dome?

Paul wrote:Yip, I thought I would basically swing by and get the tickets, then we meet at heatherdale and distributed the LAN and DGL tickets and then make a plan of what we do. I would suggest though (and this is the suckzors)that people attending the regular LAN get there very early or later to avoid the queues. However the later you get there the less chance you have of finding a set of chairs all together.

If the DGL is setup as it was in 2009, the team will have seats pre-arranged for them. It's not like trying to find seats in the open LAN area. They'll have a section for BF3, rows of 8 for each team.

I won't be bringing my PC to the open LAN area. j0no is going to be using it for the comp, in order to save lugging his PC up from Cape Town. So I'll just be a spectator this year.Although, if there's a bit of BL2 LANning happening on the Friday, count me in (j0nny can spectate).

I suggest meeting at Heatherdale in the morning regardless for the comp guys. We always take a bit longer to get started on the Friday morning, and seeing as there's no rush to get there this year, we can take the time for a hangover fighting breakfast and coffee.

For those wanting to go into the open LAN, I highly recommend getting there crack of dawn early. Last year we got there at about 8am(?), and we still queued for a good couple of hours.
