I noticed two bars stick out over the header when you shrink it. Would be cool to fix that? Could you please investigate another (preferably BF3) background for the header player box? The twirly white and grey doesn't mix well in my brain with creme, its just me
Also, what if we moved the landmark banner under the mp3 player and the calendar in the header box, then centered (vertical+horizontal) and aligned all the articles and boxes in the screen? The search bar title is in grey, it might show up a bit better in bold black?
I know I'm asking a lot here, but I'm just being petty and you're well entitled to leave it as is. Good work, it looks great, that banner is awesome. Did you purposefully remove the black guy?
