go to your nearest electronic store, and buy yourself an assortment of red, bright red, yellow, and blue LED's. Each LED will set you back around R2.10, so you can easily get yourself a fair number of them. Using a soldering iron, some wires, you can then connect them all up on a single Molex connector. Position them right, and you could generate the effect of cold water (blue LED's) on the bottom of the case, and the heat rising up (bright red LED's) on the top and an assortment in between. These LED's are so small, you could easily hide them throughout the case. They disperse so little heat, it should not make anything to the temps itself either.
Cuold be a nice mod with the white colour on the outside.
