This movie starts off with a completely different pace than what one would expect. With the light plot of Driver AKA bad ass getting mixed up in some business of his neighbours. The movie is so well put together that with minimal dialogue you can get a feel of the characters and their roles they play through out the story.

And when I say minimal dialogue the main character has about 20 lines as a maximum but with the use of cinematography and sound track the hole mood and tempo of the movie is experienced!

It is truly a work of art and anyone with the appreciation for good film making would value this movie! It made a huge impression on me and just goes to show that you can make a brilliant movie without massive explosions and incoherent dialogue.

This is definably worth watching!

I agree, saw this a few weeks back. It is not everyones cup of tea and there will be a lot of people that will say it is shit.

The music though in the film is brilliant, the soundtrack and score are amzing, it is at the same level as The Social Network. Each song perfectly captures the scene. One word of warning, if you have seen the trailer you will expect it to be an action movie, it is not.

Ja, watched it myself last week. Very good, and the use of silence is excellent. Dialogue is very slow, much like in real life rather than typical over scripted Hollywood repartee, where everyone throws out a witticism every line.

Ryan Gosling is excellent in the lead role, and some good supporting performances by Albert Brooks and Ron Perlman as the movie's bad guys.

Albert Brooks, is that his name. Yes he was good, even though he was a baddie, you got the feeling he wasn't a bad guy. He was just brought up on a different set of rules
