Didn't think you okes were into girly games. Just goes to say, you never really know people until they get the chance to play dress up on dollies. :D

The geeks have been playing LOTRO for a few years, just a dozen of us or so who play often though. I am glad to see we're on the same server. You can add both my chars to your friends list and I'll make a point of slapping you in game if I can - Wondraen (lvl 73 hunter) and Wondariel (lvl 44 Warden). I am the kin leader of our humble little group, and they all do pretty much what I say. So I say we join up and do some raids 'n stuff as soon as you mutts can get yourselves together.

Check ya online.

PS We use mumble to chat 'n game now that TS3 is borked...what do you guys use?

Cool. Will try and remember to add you. Here is a list of our kins toons....you don't have to add everyone, just me, as I'm the most important person. :D

Define "join" for those who are just madly putting up their hands and waving them around agree-ing with you.

join = leave the "grassy knowle defenders" (grrr) kinship and if your graciousness allows we join the "Bearers of the Light" kinship or he might just be saying we join you for some raids. :)

Yeah I knew it was that join after chatting with Jono last night. But wanted you okes to be clear. Not join as in, let's run along together and hold hands. We're talking about join as in I become your leader, you do what I say :D

But cool yeah. If you guys do decide to join us, you'll need to maybe register on our forum, coz I post a few updates and strat guides there for raids we are doing. We're super casual, I don't have a special roster for raids or anything. If they happen, they happen, if they don't we all run around killing other things. I"m not into all the "WoW type" seriaaaas like mmmmmppooorrrg gaming. I play to relax, not as a second job. And that's how I run the kinship too.

WondaWoman

that's coz we have tools in place to keep the riff-raff out. I"ll ask them to lower our standards a bit.

Ok. I looked into it and here is the feedback:

WondaWoman: tg...one of the grrr's are saying their registration keeps failing. I told them we don't allow riff-raff.
TG: the registration is automated
TG: oh - it's his IP that is flagged as a spammer.
TG: have to figure out how to fix that.
j0nny: he's an elf - keep him out
TG: I'm trying to figure out how to get the IP removed - he can try get a new IP so long
TG: ooh, wow.. his IP is associated with a CRAPLOAD of spammers.. very much doubt I can get it removed. FWIW, it's 196.2.126.175. Might be a proxy
TG: iburst.. don't think its a proxy.
TG: ok, lemme manually register him.
WondaWoman: it's only flycatchr...we don't really need him.
TG: Ok, I've created an account for him, and sent the activation details to his email.
TG: He'll probably need to do the 'forgot password' thing to reset the password so he can get in

There fly..don't say i don't do stuff for you.

For those who aren't BF3 addicted. I (and some other kin okes) are still jamming LOTRO, until I get my new graphics card and can play bf3 without getting angry and rage quitting. (Yes, I'm horrified to admit I rage quitted the other night because I just couldn't move anywhere without having serious jerky/sticky-ness going on. Rather annoying.)

Once I'm all kitted out to have smooth game play, I'll have to find some sort of balance between the two games since I paid subs for a year and hate letting money go to waste. Although it's nice 'n relaxing to play as a change to the intensity of bf3. (I think I'm getting old, it's just sooo fast paced. Was bf2 that fast paced? Ugh.)

Anyway...back to my point. We usually do raids/fellowship runs on Tuesday nights - although I'm not sure how many geeks will pitch up given their new addiction to ranking up on bf3 and getting new shiny toys. But I'll be around - the punishment for being a kin leader :D
