It seems that the game may be dead as a competitive title already on the PC, if this is to be believed:

Basically, they're saying that there is not dedicated server fo the PC, it's all working on a matchmaking service i.e. like console games.
In SA, thta's just not viable. I really hope that other game developers don't choose to follow this model, broadband in SA isn't fast/stable enough for us to host MP games with lots of people.
However, with international internet speeds getting faster all the time, and with the consoles being the main market for most games, this could very much become a reality.
As it stands, COD:MW2, one of the most anticipated games of the year, has just been given a huge knock. No Servers = No public MP, which will mean no competitive MP. Game over.
