Hi Guys,

We at +SSG+ normally have a bit of a knife and pistol competition for lols. I use the word competition loosely, just organise groups and play. With semis and finals and all. It really brings the fun back into BF2. Nothing serious at all. Since we had such a good time at rAge with both of your clans, we thought we would extend an invitation for you to join us.

Was thinking that after we've loaded up on the fun that we could also have a proper 16vs16 with mixed teams. Mixed any which way. Can draw names out of a hat if you like?
Would be nice if you can supply us with the names of the people that are going to be there, so that we can organise the knife and pistol competition.

Was aiming at Sunday, 18 October. If you're interested, after you've spoken to all the troops, let us know. Any suggestions or recommendations are also welcome.

We will be having the knife battle first. Played on Mashtuur(16). Then looking to play the 2 maps in normal style. Blue Pearl and Smoke Screen, both 32 player. Stay on your sides for the mixed mash please.

Knife battle guidelines:
Top 2 from each group go through to quarter finals.

Group games and Quarter Finals are 1 kill matches.
Semi finals are best of 3 kills.
Final is best of 5 kills.

Kit to be used is MEDIC only.

Sorry I dont understand completely.
I have a head cold so extra explanation may be required... This is what I understand:
Group 1 fights Group 2 at Mosque until 1 side is dead, ignoring flags?
The surviving team takes on the winner of the other group fight, each player has 3 lives?
That would mean no semi-finals. No wait, its a round robin in the first round?
I give up.

Well, if I understand correckally, we have round robin matches, 1 vs 1 within the groups to which we've been allocated at 1 kill insta-gib per match. Then the top 2 from each group go into QFinals, also 1 kill insta-gib. Then the semi finals are first to 3 kills, and the final is first to 5 kills. It appears to be an individual title for the winner, not group vs group. Or maybe I'm just goofed and also completely dirrent unnerstand.

EDIT: So in group 1, everyone fights everyone 1 vs. 1 in round robin mode. First to knife the other oke wins each time. Same for Groups 2, 3 & 4. After everyone has played everyone within their group, the top two people from each group go into the QF's, also 1 vs. 1, first to one kill, then the semi's are 1 vs. 1 first to 3 kills, final first to 5.
