The existence of a not-so-great-despite-the-fact-that-THEY-said-it-would-be-fuckin-awesome-the-fuckin-LIARS 'Dungeon Section', (reserved for the l33t3st of the l33t playing in, like, lank profeshernull comps, bru... ok, so it was a bit exclusive, but not as bad as all that), served to highlight the true attraction of rAge gatherings more pointedly than ever this year. For me, and I think the rest of the [grrr] clan, rAge is about meeting up with all the old faces of our community, putting the faces to the new names that have sprung up since the last rAge, and the social interaction of the whole event (lightly sprinkled with some BF2 games).
The pinnacle of the social interaction, of course, is getting to hang with grrrbians in RL; I've droned on about our connection so often and at such length that I'll just say that this rAge confirmed that I love you all like family. Add to this the awesomeness of BBH, HF, BFC, SSG (z0mfg the George Massive), FiB (sjoe! the combined wishes of 6 other teams that someone would just take a single round against Terra, or at least bag Sassy trying), the Rusties, Ooooom U2M, Phatso our bastard grrrbian son (who dry humped all of us and BBH over the course of the weekend) and you've got pure Leg-Endness.
The BF2 is purely a chance to play against people we can catch online most of the time anyway, but actually have them hear us curse them stukkend when they hax us. It's being able to ch00n killa to his poes face when he eryx's you for the 5th time in a round; it's throwing peanuts at Bounty after he refuses to get artied for 80 bloody tickets' worth of bleed; it's standing up to see who this FiB Speedy oke is after he's ass raped your whole squad AGAIN, and seeing it's a 14 yr old dude who's pwning you all and trying to stop phatso pinching his bum at the same time.

Shady and Lep for the airport lifts and general transport, and the life-saving junk food and cool drinks for the morning/afternoon after the Saturday night braai.
Onny and Daz for stepping up and kicking ass for the clan when duty called.
Drags for taking on the leadership of the clan, buying a medkit so that Onny and Sheri could revive lee, and the 22" that I'm staring at now (if you know what I mean).
Phatso for mercing for [grrr] in the AGASA League and the rAge comp, and generally being Pretty Hot And Tasty.
Scico for taking the time to come and chill, and nearly put me in a coma. :s226:

Scorp arriving at rage whilst I had a messy swami in my hands and not being able to give him the – as Lee would put it “snot klap” for his factory trick, you had an awesome teacher Scorp
Shadey’s love for group hugs, you are such a wonderful girl
Slow for being, well……………… slow, damn never seen such a relaxed person in my life, silently doing what needs to be done like making sure his side of the room is spotless
Fly for being overly concerned about the dodgy character doing body guard duties, good to know you look after your own
Dragonne being who you are, one awesome guy to have as friend, please do not forget to invite an orphan or two next year
Lee, you comfortable southern guy – remember the cookies next year
Being able to sit behind Lee whilst he was playing in the comp and doing a stunning job of being a squaddy whilst doing everything a squaddy should not do
Those I have “forgotten” remember that it was done to uphold your image here as I am sure the embarrassing moments better left our secret
What an awesome bunch of truly real and caring people, proud and greatful to have spent time with you guys at Rage 2009, could not have wished for anything more and that truly comes from this old grumpy, cocky big mouthed mans heart and thanks to all who had to put up with my load mouth
Perhaps one or two more mentions, Phat you are a real leg of lamb – sorry leg end
Lee you drink like a girl, oops sorry you are one lol
Sexy, only you could pull of a surprise like that, really awesome seeing you when I was told you are not going to make it
Then last but not least – Onyx. You guys are lucky to have such an awesome lady in the clan and I could possible overdo it by not checking myself here so one thing that comes to mind first, I made her promise that she would kill and then bag Sassy and boy I watched it unfold and it was pure bliss watching such art being performed, she buckles down and does what she is told, one dedicated nurse you have there, you guys look after her.

was a great experience standing behind candi and phatso. watching some elite game play from the best. (cant believe im saying this about candi :wow:)
my WTF moment was when candi shot a rocket at vermark's (i think it was him) tank and it went right through the tank. that was rather dodgy.
over all was great, cant wait for rage 2010

Turning around a 65 ticket defeat on Jollyballs against BBH, but not actually being able to cap them out...
Watching j0nny chase down and knife a BFC member (can't remember who), only to be paddled to death while bagging
Lee taking a scenic detour at the start of FuShe, while his squad members watched on in disbelief (and waited to spawn)
NOT getting thrown in the pool by Choas and U2M (man that looked cold)
Getting ass raped by Terra 95 - 0 on Dalian only to stand up and Shout "YES!!!!!" and the subsequent look of total confusion on all FiB players faces!
Being able to tell everyone to "get off my damn server!!!!!!!!!"
Seeing the grrrbains for the first time
Being @ rAge for the first time

On a personal note , thank u for being a awsome family , i'm new , but i felt very welcome!!!! U lot are grrreat!
Sitting next to Phatso for the whole tournament and see'ing him clap his hands (sarcastically) every time he got pistol whipped. EPIC Anger FTW!

Entertaining Gravity’s enquiries into the well being of my marriage – Thanks bud, at least someone cares
Pooning Lee, Candipants and Phat with a sniper rifle whilst sitting next to them and not hearing a peep out of them
Scorp arriving at rage whilst I had a messy swami in my hands and not being able to give him the – as Lee would put it “snot klap” for his factory trick, you had an awesome teacher Scorp
Shadey’s love for group hugs, you are such a wonderful girl
Slow for being, well……………… slow, damn never seen such a relaxed person in my life, silently doing what needs to be done like making sure his side of the room is spotless
Fly for being overly concerned about the dodgy character doing body guard duties, good to know you look after your own
Dragonne being who you are, one awesome guy to have as friend, please do not forget to invite an orphan or two next year
Lee, you comfortable southern guy – remember the cookies next year
Being able to sit behind Lee whilst he was playing in the comp and doing a stunning job of being a squaddy whilst doing everything a squaddy should not do
Those I have “forgotten” remember that it was done to uphold your image here as I am sure the embarrassing moments better left our secret
What an awesome bunch of truly real and caring people, proud and greatful to have spent time with you guys at Rage 2009, could not have wished for anything more and that truly comes from this old grumpy, cocky big mouthed mans heart and thanks to all who had to put up with my load mouth
Perhaps one or two more mentions, Phat you are a real leg of lamb – sorry leg end
Lee you drink like a girl, oops sorry you are one lol
Sexy, only you could pull of a surprise like that, really awesome seeing you when I was told you are not going to make it
Then last but not least – Onyx. You guys are lucky to have such an awesome lady in the clan and I could possible overdo it by not checking myself here so one thing that comes to mind first, I made her promise that she would kill and then bag Sassy and boy I watched it unfold and it was pure bliss watching such art being performed, she buckles down and does what she is told, one dedicated nurse you have there, you guys look after her.
I can think of many more but gotta leave space for others.

was a great experience standing behind candi and phatso. watching some elite game play from the best. (cant believe im saying this about candi wow)
my WTF moment was when candi shot a rocket at vermark's (i think it was him) tank and it went right through the tank. that was rather dodgy.
over all was great, cant wait for rage 2010

being able to pull more than 1 rabbit out of a hat
-racing Sir s3xy's plane along the K'dorp PTA highway because the blerry plane was early.
-the T shirt printers ( The Pen Den) being able to put the SMITH logo on our T's within 4 hours.

meeting slo and oz
playing with oz, thor and the others in the cod friendly comp and taking two rounds off ]CN[ (with shouts of joy as if we had won the entire comp ;) )
spending time with leg end oz and that awesome gift ;)
