Not sure why we pussyfooted around so much when an easy explaination would have solved our problems.

* Open net is an online mode that uses your (or your friends) computer to host a game. Closed net uses servers supplied buy the Sacred 2 distributors.
(closed net is considered cheat free as your game is saved on the distributors servers)

Finally managed to sort out my online account, and got the game functioning in MP.
So, when you get online, how do you find people?
Is there some way to 'tag' players as friends, and invite them to your game or something?

FUCKIN A! What nights are good for you, Jules? As you may have guessed from his above post, Sacred is Candidate-free gaming, and thus thoroughly enjoyable.

Pretty much any time if I know there will be people there.
Aside from Tuesday and Thursday evenings, up until 20h30. That's training night.
Friday and Saturday night (22h00 +), I am often playing Sins, but if you okes wanna play Sacred, that can work, as long as ShaolinTiger can join us (yes, he also has the game) coz he are my maatjie in team-based Sins games.

Are you guys playing with new characters, or have you imported high-level pwners from your SP games?

Both fairly noobzorish at the game, but we're starting new Level 0 characters, so that we can all be in the same boat- so to speak, right from teh start

We started new characters when we tried it last night. I would assume that if we were going to start a group of regular players (like a 4 man team of Lee, Jules, Shaolin and I, who would play 2-3 nights per week together) then the best idea would be to all start from scratch to ensure level experience points etc. Those characters then would only be played when the group plays so that we all level up together. Once people have higher level single player characters we can always do an impromptu meet up and show them off or whatever. Also, I've only had the game a week and so the only character i have is a level 5 brakhond from last night's play.

Went to BT Games today only to find out that Sacred 2 Gold Edition (well, every Sacred 2 actually) is out of stock in the entire Gauteng province. :'(
