I am gonna start this thread here, as i was having hassles with SGS forum and EA through google.
the two biggest BUG issues i had:
ONE:
i play invert mouse, so i tick the box. when i was in game, there where a number of occasions when i couldnt look up or down - almost as if there are two completely separate subprograms being told what to do when i move the mouse up or down. it kinda goes up a little and then says WOOOWWW, i thought you wanted to look down, and as soon as it goes down, it starts going up, but bouncing like a ping pong ball in a tube only SLIGHTLY bigger than the ball. its not unplayable, but it certainly puts you at a disadvantage when you cant shoot up or down ot at the head. i was eventually trying to find craters in the ground to use as height edjustment along with crouching.
TWO:
My voip was also 'intermittant' it worked for half a game, and then it didnt work again.
possible contributors to these problems:
I always change the default settings to suit my play style and so that i dont have to re-learn which buttons do what. including invert mouse,
i spent a long time rebinding some keys and checking how they felt in game. and i see that there is a section in the "walk" options that allows for binding of the x and y axis in the mouse column. IMHO - stooopid. If i press reset to defaults in the main settings section, it seems to sort out the sticking issue, for a while, until i spawn in trees or a building, or just anywhere (almost an arbitrary situation).

vista 64bit
xfx 8300 mobo
AMD Phenome 9750 Quad core
palit 9800 GTX2+
8 GB ram (cheap)
Z-board fang (usb) - no special software/drivers loaded
Logitech X3D pro joystick (usb)
microsoft sidewinder mouse (usb) - no special software/drivers loaded
logitech headset
wireless ISP conection. (NO LAG/latebncy ISSUES AT ALL - except getting shot before i can shoot :) )
other issues:
no prone :'(
"say all/say squad/sayteam" doesnt work when dead. afaik, didnt for me, so when you are busy typing and get killed, "SORRY FOR YOU"?
2 CTD so far - in browser and when trying to "say all" [J] at game end
[Q] for spotting means no commo rose and isnt always as efective as [Q] + [lmb] especially when [lmb] fires, especially cause you cant say thanks to your teamies for revives, etc.
you cant use ping as a search criteria, nor list servers from highest to lowest ping/population etc.
i saw someones rank flipping from lowest to highest in a repeated cycle over a few seconds.
since i have loaded the beta, i am getting strange issues with internet explorer not loading sites.
