Ok as requested, I do apologise for not making a thread. My understanding that we could just carry on where we left off was somewhat naive. As a poll is gonna take to long I suggest we stick to our regular Wednesday practice day and Sunday as our match days. We got ass fucked again into Prem AGAIN and I hope to get our team to perform to such a level that the amount of pain received from the Prem ass pounding to be bearable. Ive asked Brad to help is out and looks like there is interest from his side.
Dont get me wrong on the following guys. I'd like to give everybody a chance but for the sake of following a battle plan that I have in mind I do have a ideal team that I would like to field if they are all in fact available to play. My ideal team:
(Squad 1) Russian SL
EGGMAN
Paul
(Squad 2) Tyger SL
Atomicduzt (If available)
Kyuubidemon (If available and only after transfer period, if not already added?)
(Squad 3) Armor - Voetsek/Kill/Niteshade/Bdsjack
Chopper - IrishLuck/Kill/Niteshade/Bdsjack
This is the team I will pick if all these individuals are able to pitch.
2 squads of infantry to each push and hold a flag in the middle of the map. 1 Armour squad to hold a back flag and push towards the front flag in case the back flag is lost to the enemy. The other role armor squad is tasked with is to push and assist against enemy armor per request from one of the infantry squads. Armor squad is not to push forward unless they get the order to do so. I dont care if it gets boring at the back. Stay sharp and vigilant for enemy's that try to sneak up to back flag and surprise attack you. The top gunner's main objective is to lookout for the tank in the directions that the main turret is not facing so there can be no sneaky mine plants behind a tank.
Each infantry squad will have their designated flag assigned to push and hold. If it deems that one squad is not able to get their flag, both squads can make a push to overpower a flag if necessary . I know rotation is the name of the game and we have done this well against top teams in Lockers. I know Lockers is out so it's just and example. We need to keep things simple. There are 3 guys in a squad, so when you have captured a flag lock it down in 3 different directions to avoid a back rage.
It's just a game and we are in prem again. If we take this too seriously we are gonna have a bad time I can assure you off it. Lets all just stay calm no matter what happens during the match and try to make the right decisions as far as humanly(grrr) possible and have fun. We did fairly well on Zavod and Shanghai. I do think that's our best 2 maps. If you have any other map suggestions or tips please share. Lets just keep the sarcasm to a minimum in this thread as we are trying to get the ball rolling.
