Hey All,

Been a long while since i had to write out a testimonial about joining a clan. Last one i wrote was 2006 to join BOC and been there every since.

But unfortunately BOC has kinda.... actually i dont know, they were there, now everybody has just disappeared. I still keep in contact with the friends i have made.

Now, why should i be considered to join grrr. All honesty, im an average player, play for fun most of the time, playing hours i try fit in between work and real life. Just a casual gamer with the longing for an online family that i miss so much. I love a good laugh with like minded people and taking the piss. Just makes playing games that much more fun when there are friends around you all laughing at the same thing.

My online debut started with GW, then moved into AA when i got ADSL. Then played BF2 and followed suit since then. Currently playing SWTOR (when there arent massive updates), GW2 now and again, TF2 with a friend, and WoW when i have time to justify 60day card.

I got out of gaming for a bit as real life just took the hammer down and said you are my bitch. Got rid of my pc and interwebz. But bought me a new pc about 2 months ago and ready to play again.

Im currently running 8ta 3G for the connection, but considering getting a 2mb line to play properly again with decent pings.

There is a difference between difficult and impossible... the best way to explain it is to use BadAssJack and Russian. It will be difficult for Russian to screw Sophia Lynx whereas it is impossible for BadAssJack to do the same. I suppose the same applies to some maths questions... difficult for some, impossible for others... ;-)

1. My cousin gave me that nick when we used to lan when we were alot younger. Always used to try get the darkest skins available and smash some faces.

The pictures of the pc looks reasonable did you do the cable management and water cooling yourself? If so, then not too bad at all. Regarding the prettiest member of GRRR, I don't think there is much contest there... at least not if you are looking for some bandaids on the battlefield.

Regarding steam games, I suggest you befirend all the grrr guys on steam and get some answers there...

1. I played baseball for Cardinals since i was 6 up until about 22. I had to throw the towel in due to elbow and knees giving in. I was a Shortstop and catch. Catch destroyed my knees, sitting crouched for 3 hours up and down did damage.

Alright, let me take a stab at this one.

If you layer 10x10 = 100 balls.
next layer will be between the other balls, now the question is what percent you take the ball sinks lower. Gonna take 33%.
new layer is now 9x9 = 81 balls but you gain 33% space per 1cm layer.
so, 181 balls per 1.66cm layer.

5cm / 1.66cm = 3
3 * 181balls = 543 balls

Alright, let me take a stab at this one.

If you layer 10x10 = 100 balls.
next layer will be between the other balls, now the question is what percent you take the ball sinks lower. Gonna take 33%.
new layer is now 9x9 = 81 balls but you gain 33% space per 1cm layer.
so, 181 balls per 1.66cm layer.

5cm / 1.66cm = 3
3 * 181balls = 543 balls

Your first layer is stacked 10x10... interesting.
have you considered stacking your first layer in the following format:

10 then 9 then 10 then 9 then 10 then 9 then 10.... doing it that way, means you can fit in an extra row on the bottom layer thereby increasing the total bottom layer to 105 balls instead of the 100 you've mentioned. The question is what do you do with the second layer... ;-)

By the way, the mathematics to calculate the height of a second layer is quite cool in it's own right (you just "assumed" 33%). I.e. 2 balls on the bottom layer with the top layer inbetween. Versus 3 balls in a triangle shape on the bottom with the second layer lying inbetween the 3 balls, versus 4 balls in a square with the top layer sitting between them. The really cool one to calculate is if you have 5 balls in a ring shape on the bottom and you put the second layer on top of that one. As a matter of interest, if you have 6 balls on the bottom layer making a ring, then the space in the middle is big enough for a ball to actually sit inside the middle.

But no, short answer, I have calculated a much bigger number than what you and Morhp have thusfar came up with.

Hey Dante,

1. Currently its the 2JZ-GE motor but dropped it off this morning for the transplant to happen. Putting in the 2JZ-GTE motor.
2. 1JZ require modification to the engine mounts as well as a new bellhousing on the W58 box. 2JZ-GTE is direct bolt-in
3. Traded it in on the Focus ST, alot that helped hey.
4. Currently with the old motor, about 160HP at the wheels. New motor, looking for 430HP at the wheels.
5. Thats a good question, i say no. LOL
